I believe the majority of the Ash family of Miller County are descendents of Samuel Ash. I believe he had children that don't show in the 1860 census. It is obvious that there are strong ties with the Phillips & Robinett Families. You will find these three families living next door to each other in the census. If you had these families looking out for you, you were in good, safe hands. There are a lot of gaps in this look-up, that with the help of descendants of these three families,could be filled in quite easily, I'm sure. There are only 4 or 5 Ash families in the phone book for this general area. (The Robinett decendents get a little excited when it is referred to as the Rodden Cemetery. The Rodden Church of Christ is right across the road, but it is the Robinett Cemetery as the sign indicates.
