CARRENDER FAMILY:

Apparently Alfred Carrender was the first Carrender of record in Miller
County. He was here in a family of 2 males & 2 females in the 1840 census.
This name comes up a lot in my research of the older Miller county
residents. His family had increased a little by 1850.

The Carrenders were hard for me to keep together because they settled in
Cole County and MillerCounty. The land south of the Osage River used to
be part of Cole County but became Miller County in 1837. This helped me
tie some of them together because the people they married were from this
area.
