John Odom of Pulaski County married Amanda V. Duncan of Maries County, Oct. 6, 1881.

Isaac J. Odom was married to Jane Pruitt by H. F. Odom, on Jan. 18, 1874. Lavinia Coffey was the first wife of Isaac Odom. they had 2 children William and Braseal who went to Texas. Isaac was the son of Jacob Odom who was born in Scotland and settled in Misssissippi in 1812. Isaac was born in1824. After his first wife died, Isaac married a Petty. They moved to Howell County. He died of typhoid fever before 1875. Reverend H. F. Odom married my grandfather, Burton Burns to Emily R. Denton, Sept. 15, 1872.

John Odom and S. J. Odom helped organize the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in August 1887. That was in Camden County. They were also pastors there. In 1880 census of Maries County: Isaac Odom age 27, his wife Jane(Pruitt) age 25, Mary E. age 4, Charles A. age 3, and Carrol E. (Son) age 5 months.

In 1900: Carrol E. Odom was living with the Carrel Roberson family.

Will do the Dillon, Boone, and Petty families later. Jimmy Dillon was a good basketball player from St. James Mo. in the early 1950's. They owned a store on Hwy. 8 at St. James.
